This non-invasive treatment has shown promising results in alleviating symptoms of depression and has gained recognition in the field of psychiatry. If you're seeking TMS therapy in Wilmington, DE, consult a qualified psychiatrist to explore this innovative approach to mental health.
TMS is a simple outpatient therapy where the majority of patients experience positive changes after just a few sessions. TMS sessions are relaxing as they are performed while you sit in a reclining chair as a magnetic coil stimulates nerve cells in a targeted area of your brain.

TMS treatment is a game-changing therapy that should be celebrated, not feared. While undergoing TMS treatments, the majority of patients are at ease and report a sense of calmness.
People sometimes experience a tapping sensation, but it usually fades with time as they become acclimated to the therapy. There are no sedative medicines or anesthesia needed for TMS, so you will be able to drive yourself home after your session and go about your day.
Founded by Dr. Jack Castro, a Clinical TMS Society member and certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Brandywine Valley TMS utilizes cutting-edge technology for the treatment of neuropsychiatric disorders. Let’s examine four main reasons why TMS therapy is growing in popularity:
ROGER
NANCY
Originally from Venezuela, Dr. Castro is a bilingual Spanish speaking psychiatrist.
After completing medical school, he completed a psychiatric residency in Metropolitan Hospital Center / New York Medical College in Harlem New York.
Next, Dr. Castro completed two subspecialties in geriatric psychiatric and psychosomatic medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.
With his wife Amanda being a Delaware native as well as an adolescent psychiatrist, the decision was easy to relocate in order to practice closer to help and support mental wellness in their community.
"I came to see Dr Castro in the summer of 2023 l was feeling depressed. This had going on at least months. He explained what TMS is about and I decided to go for it. I was nervous about it but it was easier than expected and no pain at all. We did a bunch of sessions back to back for 2 weeks and then we lowered it to once every 2 weeks and then one Avery 3 weeks. So TMS has been extremely helpful, I was relieved in about a week and my issues disappeared in a month. I’m so thankful that I found TMS as a way to deal with my mental health problems without having to take lots of medication.l highly recommend Brandy Valley TMS and Dr Jack Castro. Thanks you so much!!!"
